Hello!  We’re Glad You’re Checking Us Out 

We’re John and Diane Kramer, the Senior Leaders of gateway:61. We have been married since 1983 and our journey has been, and is, to daily choose to live in God's design as His Son and Daughter…our true identity.

In 2012 we felt God tug our hearts for a new adventure. We perceived this to be a new focus for the mission trips, prison and inner city ministries we served, but we were wrong...

Here’s what He said…"Step into a move and raise up an army." He defined "step into a move" as a Presence driven church with Him as the centerpiece, and "raise up an army" as a culture of loving people surrendered to Him. This creates a safe environment where we are free to be who God created us to be.

As God spoke to us, He highlighted the word "gateway" over 35 times while reading in Ezekiel 40, reminding us that Jesus IS the gateway. And "61" comes from Isaiah 61 which talks in part about bringing good news to the poor, comforting the brokenhearted and proclaiming freedom to the captives.  Voila' gateway:61.
